Back-up from Abatement-Exchange

A UK Flexible Packaging Operator needed to replace an inefficient abatement system to treat solvent fumes from a series of printing presses.
The Operator looked to Abatement-Exchange for help who suggested installing a used dual-section RTO that was available on the website.

The RTO was commissioned such that either section could handle the process loading thereby providing 100% back-up in the event of a major failure. The spare capacity available at the RTO could also be used for future expansion.
Environmental project Management (sister company to Abatement-Exchange) managed the project and installed exhaust ductwork, diverting dampers, LEL gas monitors and networked control panels to automatically connect the process exhaust stacks to the RTO.
